Code/Art

Code/Art is a Miami-based non-profit whose mission is to increase the number of girls – particularly underrepresented minority girls – studying computer science by delighting and inspiring them with the creative possibilities of computer programming. We put young women on track for future tech careers by providing welcoming early coding programs that focus on art, creativity and social good.

An Intro to coding in the arts

Abby Schukei, is a middle school art teacher in Omaha, Nebraska. She has made wonderful connections with coding and the arts.  Technology integration and computational thinking skills play a huge role in the way she shapes her classroom. Check out her Scratch project for teaching students about the primary colors.
